PHYSEC (Physical-layer Security) IRI proposes PHYSEC, physical-layer security, as a promised technology for the next generation data communication security. The random stream cipher by modulation scheme and quantum noise is called Yuen-2000 (Y-00) protocol. The received signals of an eavesdropper are randomized by quantum noise when she taps a communication line to extract the signal. The Y-00 protocol was originally invented and developed by Northwestern University and Tamagawa University. IRI is promoting the random stream cipher by Y-00 protocol towards the commercial development and marketing. The IRI booth presents 2 prototypes from domestic and American manufacturers. 2. T2V (Text to Vision) T2V is software, originally developed by IRI, being compliant to the TVML (TV program Making Language) standard.
