1. The handling of personal information at the Interop Tokyo 2007 event organized by the Interop Tokyo 2007 Executive Committee (hereafter called “this Event”) is entrusted to CMP Technology Japan Co., Ltd. as the Management Office for this Event.
2. CMP Technology Japan Co., Ltd. will oversee the handling of personal information at this Event to ensure that it is managed appropriately in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and Privacy Statement. Click here to view CMP Technology Japan Co., Ltd.’s Privacy Policy/Privacy Statement.
3. The personal information registered will be used in the operation and management of this Event and to provide notification of forthcoming events. CMP Technology Japan Co., Ltd. will send out direct mail via the post, e-mail, or fax, or use distribution proxy services to provide information on IT-related events, exhibitions, and conferences to be organized by CMP Technology Japan Co. Ltd., as well as information on participating companies.
4. At the Event, a barcode system is used on badges provided to visitors, so that when the barcode on the badge is read at an exhibition booth, the registered personal information recorded thereon will be provided to the exhibitor. The exhibitor shall then be responsible for the management of personal information and may subsequently provide information on products, services, and seminars, etc. Please note that the reading of barcodes shall constitute an exchange of personal information between a customer and the exhibitor in the same way that supplying a business card would, and therefore, the customer might approach the exhibitor directly to request the disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal information. The same barcode system will be in use at the IMC Tokyo 2007 event that will be held in conjunction with this event and be accessible from the same venue. When barcodes are read at the IMC Tokyo 2007 venue, registered personal information shall be provided to IMC Tokyo 2007 exhibitors.
5. When customers register to participate in the Presentation Theatre to be held within the exhibition hall at this Event, personal information will be provided to the sponsor companies in charge of the respective presentations, and the exhibitor shall then be responsible for the management of personal information and may subsequently provide information on products, services, and seminars, etc.
6. The Interop Tokyo 2007 Management Office may outsource the handling of personal information for the sending out of notices and information, etc. In such cases, the Management Office will oversee such to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately.

Registered personal information on those who also register to participate in this concurrent event will be provided to the organizers of the concurrent event as well for event operation and management purposes.
